At Mommy and Me Health Services Inc, our mission is to strengthen families and communities by providing non-medical health support services, reentry assistance, resource navigation, and domestic violence support for families and individuals seeking stability, opportunity, and long-term success.
We recognize the challenges that many families face. Many families remain trapped in the same cycle due to a lack of intergenerational opportunities and resources. To address these issues, we must invest in education, job training, and community support programs that empower individuals to break free from these cycles and build a brighter future. By fostering an environment that prioritizes skill development and mentorship, we can create pathways to success for the next generation.
Emergency Shelter Program - 24 Beds
A proposed 24-bed shelter providing emergency housing, case management, housing stabilization, employment readiness, life-skills training, health and wellness referrals, and connections to permanent housing.
Pathways to Independence
We are developing supportive housing solutions designed to help low-income individuals and families move from housing instability toward safety and long-term independence.
Our Vision
Our vision for the Pathways to Independence initiative is to develop supportive housing environments where people can begin rebuilding their lives without having to navigate challenges alone. We want community members to have a safe place to sleep while also receiving the guidance, resources, and connections needed to address the circumstances contributing to their housing instability.
Our work is rooted in the legacy of compassion and service that shaped our founder’s life. Growing up, Lenita witnessed firsthand the strength and dedication of her mother who dedicated her life to helping others and giving back.
